FCOP Welcomes Veteran Corporate and Business Attorney, Chris Kitasaki

Christopher Kitasaki has joined the firm as a partner in its Business Transactions group.  He brings more than 28 years of experience to the firm, including extensive knowledge and skill in entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate. 

“We have long admired Chris’s exceptional skills.  His strong background in business transactions and his practical approach to the practice of law fits in perfectly with our firm,” noted Michael Velthoen, managing partner of Ferguson Case Orr Paterson. “I am honored to welcome such a respected member of the legal community to our FCOP family.”

Kitasaki graduated from the University of California, Irvine. He received his  from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a master of laws degree in taxation from Georgetown University. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1983.  For the next three years, Kitasaki served as a staff attorney for the Division of Corporation Finance at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Washington, D.C. Most recently, Kitasaki was a senior partner with Nordman Cormany Hair and Compton LLP.  He is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association and the Camarillo Noontime Optimist Club.
