Alexis B. Dunne
Alexis received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she studied philosophy and mathematics. Her undergraduate studies, which focused on logic and formal systems, developed into an interest in the law. She graduated cum laude from Pepperdine School of Law in 2019.
At Pepperdine, Alexis’s concentration on entertainment law and intellectual property earned her Pepperdine’s Certificate of Entertainment, Media, and Sports Law. She received awards for receiving the highest grade in her wills & trusts, torts, entertainment law, IP survey, and sports law classes. Alexis also served as the Literary Citation Editor for Pepperdine’s Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship, and the Law (JBEL), which published her article discussing virtual reality and copyright law.
Prior to joining Ferguson Case Orr Paterson, LLP, Alexis practiced at a boutique intellectual property firm in Malibu, California. She has since turned her attention to the field of estate planning and is now an estate planning associate at FCOP.
Alexis was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, reading philosophy, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family.
