Scott B. Samsky

Partner

Estate planning and trust administration requires meticulous planning and legal expertise because of the complexities of dividing, transferring, and taxing assets across generations, which makes Scott Samsky’s enthusiasm for client engagement, client understanding and problem-solving a strength of his practice. A partner at Ferguson Case Orr Paterson, Scott handles many estate and gift planning and trust administration matters for clients of all wealth levels while drawing upon the CPA certificate he earned in 1978.

Scott has worked in tax and estate planning and trust administration since 1982, including nine years in Los Angeles and two decades at Oxnard’s Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton, where he was a partner. He earned his law degree in 1981 from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to that, he studied accounting at the University of Minnesota School of Management, where he earned his bachelor of science.
