Theodore J. England
Ted England leads Ferguson Case Orr Paterson’s business transactions practice group and is a partner in the firm. His legal practice also includes taxation, real property law, employee benefits, commercial law and estate planning.
A frequent lecturer on real property law for the California Continuing Education of the Bar program, Ted is also a certified specialist in taxation law. Rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbard, Ted studied political science at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and he received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law in 1966.
Ted’s work doesn’t end with law. He also runs a 38.5 acre ranch that grows two dozen crops, including apples, walnuts, and many other products. He lives in the ranch with his wife, Annette, two dogs and four cats. Outside of his work, he serves the community as a board member at Interface Children Family Services, the Salvation Army, and the St. John’s Healthcare Foundation. He also manages the Tequila All-Stars softball team, which he co-founded and for whom he plays.
