FCOP Co-Founder, John Orr, Comments on the Museum of Ventura County New Consultant and Executive Director

The Museum of Ventura County has selected Elena Brokaw as its new consultant and executive director. She hopes to help the Museum “become more present in people’s lives.” Brokaw is a Ventura native who most recently served as the City of Ventura’s Director of Parks, Recreation & Community Partnerships. On behalf of the Museum, Ferguson Case Orr Paterson co-founder John Orr commented that Brokaw’s “extensive background in the arts and with public cultural organizations is just what [the Museum] needs to strengthen our commitment to our 103-year-old mission, while serving present and future audiences.” Orr chairs the Museum’s Board of Directors.
