FCOP’s Meghan B. Clark Presents “The Aftermath: Everything that Happens After You Terminate an Employee”

(February 6, 2012) Ms. Clark will be speaking at the upcoming Southern California Public Management Association’s (SCPMA) seminar on February 9, 2012.  With cities still recovering from a downturned economy, termination skills are a necessity.  This seminar will focus on how to conduct a termination meeting in a way that reduces your chance of being sued, how to handle post-employment references, how to respond to unemployment claims, DFEH complaints and other administrative claims, how to prepare effective severance & release agreements and workplace security after you terminate a problematic employee.
