(August 31, 2011) When an employee or ex-employee becomes disgruntled and seeks assistance from an attorney to discuss whether to sue you and your company, there are certain qualities a plaintiff’s attorney looks for in a potential client. We will discuss what plaintiffs’ lawyers look for when assessing the potential claims and new clients and what steps HR managers and business owners can take to encourage plaintiffs’ attorneys to take a “pass” on the potential case.
