Jessica M. Wan
Jessica’s practice focuses primarily on complex civil and commercial litigation, appeals, and employment matters. She is admitted to practice in the States of California and Hawaii as well as the Federal District Court for the District of Hawaii, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Jessica has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2016, 2017 and 2019 and was named as one of the Pacific Coast Business Times “40 under 40” in 2019.
Jessica received her Juris Doctor summa cum laude from the William S. Richardson School of Law and was the salutatorian of her graduating class. Jessica practiced for three years at one of the largest private law firms in Honolulu before joining our firm. During law school, Jessica served as a Casenote Editor and was a member of the Publishing Committee for the University of Hawaii Law Review, worked as a volunteer for the Hawaii State Judiciary’s Chief Family Judge, and externed with the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii. She also volunteered with various school-run organizations such as the Advocates for Public Interest Law, Students for Public Outreach & Civic Education, and the Medical-Legal Partnership.
Jessica graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2011, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering.
Jessica was born and raised in Honolulu. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog Obi Wan.
